Breakfast
Antioxidant Chia Banana Oatmeal

Start your day with a healthy breakfast
Oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfast staples. I have it at least a few times a week because it’s not only easy to make, but it’s delicious, nutritious and keeps me feeling full, fueled and satisfied.
Oatmeal is full of carbs and fiber. My younger self would have never eaten oatmeal twice a week because “cArBs”, but my older and wiser self enjoys and chooses oatmeal because of all it’s benefits.
Oats contain more protein and fat than most grains giving you enough energy to conquer the first half of your day. I love how versatile it is too, you can add any additions into your oatmeal, or get crazy and top it off with healthy and nutritious toppings like I did here.
I used BareOrganics Goji Berries and Cacao nibs– both are a great source of fiber and antioxidants.
Goji Berries

Used in traditional Chinese remedies, Goji Berries are nutrient-rich and are often referred to as “red diamonds” on Asian markets because of their reputation for supporting the body’s natural defenses as well as overall health and vitality.
Vision
Goji berries can help vision because they contain high levels of healthy antioxidants, especially zeaxanthin.
Provides immune system support
Goji berries contain healthy antioxidants. Antioxidants are known for their immune-boosting qualities and their ability to fight harmful free radicals and inflammation.
Goji berries contain large amounts of vitamins A and C, similarly to other berries, including blueberries and raspberries. Vitamins A and C are vital for building immunity and preventing illnesses, ranging from the common cold to cancer.
Promotes healthy skin
Goji berries contain beta-carotene which is an essential plant phytochemical. Beta-carotene is known for its ability to promote healthy skin.
Beta-carotene is an ingredient used in skin creams to:
- improve skin health
- reduce skin irritation
- manage the effects of the sun
- manage the impact of aging
Cacao Nibs

Cacao nibs, also known as cocoa nibs, are crumbled bits of dried cacao beans, which grow on the cacao tree. Cacao nib producers dry and crack the beans into small pieces. Cacao nibs are part of the same bean used in chocolate candy production.
They are a decadent, sugar-free addition to your favorite baked goods and smoothies. As a good source of dietary fiber, which supports digestive health.
Cacao nibs contain many antioxidants. These antioxidants can help reduce cell damage in your body, which helps prevent diseases like heart disease and cancer.
Healthy Digestion
The fiber in cacao beans promotes healthy digestion. Getting enough fiber can help soften your bowel movements, prevent hemorrhoids and help with other digestive conditions.
Less Inflammation
Certain compounds in cacao nibs have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help to lessen the risks of getting cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and depression.
Improved Mood
Cacao nibs contain healthy fats and other compounds that can increase the levels of the hormones serotonin and dopamine in your brain, which impacts your mood.

Overall, this oatmeal bowl is full of nutrients, antioxidants and will keep you feeling full, fueled and satisfied.
Starting your day with a big healthy breakfast is so important. It gets your digestive system started in the morning, and will fill you up with fiber which is so important for digestive health.
I absolutely love BareOrganics because all of their products are organic and the quality of the ingredients is something that I can trust.
I also love how BareOrganics repurposes their containers meaning, once you are done with the product you can peel off the label, wash it and re-use it for storage. No waste, no problem!
