You can use store bought caramel, or you can make my homemade coconut caramel sauce that is vegan and gluten free.
I recommend using granny smith green apples for this recipe.

How To Make
ONE: Spread a generous amount of caramel the pretzel and set them on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.

Tips And Tricks
Using a thing pretzel and a thin green apple slice creates the yummiest texture.
If using my homemade caramel recipe, I recommend making it the day before or a few hours before at least so it can firm up in the fridge. This makes it scoopable and spreadable.
How To Serve And Store
Serve these Caramel Apple Bites once the caramel is firm enough and doesn’t drip from the edges.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy within 4-5 days.

Taste And Texture
These Caramel Apple Bites are sweet, salty and slightly tangy. The caramel has a subtle coconut flavor because it’s made with all coconut ingredients but tastes just like caramel.
The texture is crisp, crunchy and creamy.
