Ingredients And Substitutions

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for Chocolate Covered Pineapple. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

Use fresh pineapple for best results, however, you can use canned pineapple too if preferred.

I used greek yogurt for these, but you can use any type of yogurt that you’d like such as dairy free, cashew based, coconut based, etc.

I used unsweetened shredded coconut, but you can use sweetened if you want it to be a bit sweeter. Toasted coconut would also taste really yummy!

To finished these bites off, dip and coat them in melted white chocolate. Use dairy free to make these bites vegan!

How To Make

ONE: Slice pineapple and cut out the core, then cut into bite sized pieces. Dip pineapple into yogurt until each piece is well coated and place it on a piece of parchment paper.

TWO: Sprinkle with shredded coconut and then freeze.

THREE: Once frozen, dip the pineapple in melted white chocolate and place it back on the parchment paper and back into the freezer until firm once more and enjoy.

  2. Next, using a toothpick or a fork, dip each pineapple into yogurt until each piece is well coated and place it on a piece of parchment paper.
