Something sweet for the Holidays

I promise you will be making this recipe on repeat for the holiday’s this year. Whether it’s for a family get-together or therapeutic baking session, these cranberry bars will be on repeat for the remainder of the year, I can guarantee that!

These insanely good Cranberry Crumb Bars are everything I want in one delicious dessert. They have a delicious and moist cookie-like crust and are topped with warm, gooey cranberries and then sprinkled with more cookie crust. It’s a match made in heaven. They even taste great with some non-dairy vanilla ice cream on top!

Organic Coconut Palm Sugar

Coconut sugar contains healthy fats that are known to help prevent high cholesterol and heart disease. Inulin is a type of dietary fiber that helps keep your gut healthy, prevent colon cancer, and balance your blood sugar. While standard table sugar is pure sucrose. –google

I have been loving using BareOrganics Coconut Palm Sugar in my baking this season. Organic coconut palm sugar is made from the sweet sap of the budding flowers on the coconut palm tree. This delicious sweetener makes a great sugar substitute, as it is low on the glycemic index – meaning it won’t spike your blood sugar.

BareOrganics’ coconut palm sugar is pure and extremely flavorful and fragrant, and will appeal to lovers of maple syrup in particular.

Coconut sugar is a 1:1 swap for regular white sugar. However, I believe it gives baked goods a delicious carmel-y flavor.

What I love most about BareOrganics is that all of their containers are reusable! Whenever I finish a container, I clean it and then re-use it. It’s amazing for storing just about anything and you don’t have to waste.

Each jar is 100% recyclable, BPA-Free and Reusable with an easy-peel label, and is both microwave and top shelf dishwasher safe.
