Ingredients And Substitutions

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for Egg Nog Martini. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

You will need your favorite brand of egg nog of course! You can find it at most grocery stores during this time of year.

Plain for vanilla flavored vodka works great, you can also use a spiced rum if desired.

Disaronno Originale Amaretto Liqueur or any other amaretto.

Vanilla bean paste if you have it, otherwise vanilla extract works great.

Cinnamon or nutmeg to sprinkle on top, and brown sugar and honey for the rim.

How To Make

ONE: In a cocktail shaker, add in vodka, egg nog, disaronno and vanilla extract. Add in a handful of ice and shake for 20-30 seconds.

TWO: Pour into a glass that is rimmed with brown sugar. Top with cinnamon and enjoy.

Adding cinnamon or nutmeg on top adds a ton of flavor and body.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz egg nog
  • 1 oz vodka
  • .5 oz disaronno originale amaretto liqueur
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste, or vanilla extract
  • cinnamon (or nutmeg) to sprinkle on top before serving
  • brown sugar and honey for the rim

  1. Start by dipping the top of your cocktail glass into honey and then dip into brown sugar. Place in the freezer to chill while you make your cocktail.
