Ingredients And Substitutions
These are the main ingredients and substitutions for Frozen Banana Bites with Peanut Butter and Jelly. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.
Use your favorite type of dark or milk chocolate. I prefer to use Hu Kitchen chocolate chips as they have no added sugar and are instead sweetened with dates. Make sure you use a dairy free/vegan chocolate if you want to keep these vegan.
Use a ripe banana for best results, these are naturally sweeter and have a much softer texture.
I like to use the creamy all natural peanut butter from Trader Joe’s, but I also like the one from Justin’s! Any peanut butter will work!
For the strawberry jelly, I used the one from Spread the Love which is made with simple and wholesome ingredients. Strawberry is going to work best to achieve that classic peanut butter and jelly taste, but you can also use any flavor!
Roasted peanuts give a lovely crunch factor to these bites. You can omit or swap for any other nut!

How To Make
ONE: Start by melting the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments with a touch of oil. Once melted, mix in the peanut butter.

TWO: Add chocolate mixture to silicon liners. Then, add in a banana slice.

THREE: Next, add in the peanut butter and jelly. Use a toothpick to swirl the two together.

FOUR: Sprinkle the top with chopped roasted peanuts and then finish it off with more melted chocolate before placing in the freezer to fully harden.

FIVE: Remove from liners and enjoy!
Tips And Tricks
Mixing together the chocolate and peanut butter will provide a more fudgy texture to the chocolate. You can leave out the peanut butter, but then the chocolate will be more rock hard to bite into once frozen.
Use these square silicon molds for easy assembly and cleanup!
How To Serve And Store
Serve these Frozen Banana Bites with Peanut Butter and Jelly once they are firm enough to be removed from the silicon liners.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 60 days!

Taste And Texture
These Frozen Banana Bites with Peanut Butter and Jelly taste like peanut butter and jelly that is dipped in dark chocolate.
The texture is smooth, creamy, chewy and fudgey!

Hi Jennifer! I’m sorry, that was my fault. Should be 1/4 cup added to the melted chocolate, I just updated the recipe card. I hope you enjoy!
