Ingredients And Substitutions

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for High Protein Cheesecake Jars. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

Cottage cheese is the base of this recipe, it gives this cheesecake that distinct cheesy taste without the cream cheese.

Greek yogurt gives a tanginess to this recipe all while providing a creamy texture.

Maple syrup is my favorite sweetener to use in my recipes, it’s an unrefined sweetener that gives a lovely flavor.

Vanilla extract is necessary for any dessert! I prefer to use vanilla bean paste, but you can use vanilla extract as well.

Add on your favorite fruit for toppings, or mix in some cacao powder to make a chocolate version!

Crushed graham crackers create the crust for these cheesecake jars.

Oh my goodness! These were delicious! I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about it tasting like a cheesecake but it does! And the jars are super convenient and just the amount I need to stay on track! Thanks 😊

this recipe is amazing!! love how simple and healthy it is while still tasting like actual cheesecake! i used granola as my base since i had no graham crackers or another type of cookie and that was still amazing – it gave cheesecake parfait vibes! can’t wait to eat this throughout the week.

This is a great recipe. Sweet and satisfying but also good for you. Lowfat and high protein! I ended up adding 8 tsp. of organic unsweetened cocoa powder and as a personal preference I also added 2 Tbs. of PB2 powdered peanut butter. I will most likely use crushed amaretti cookies for the base and top with a tsp. of Enjoy Life mini semisweet chocolate chips. A perfect summer dessert!
