A Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust
I recently discovered Cali’flourFoods low carb pizza crusts that are made entirely with simple and fresh ingredients. These crusts are also both grain free and gluten-free, making them suitable for those following a keto or low-carb diet. Cali’flour Foods makes pizza crusts and flat breads that are made with three main ingredients: cauliflower, cheese and eggs.
I was so intrigued by these crusts that when it came to lunch time, I knew I needed to try both the Pizza Crust and Flat Bread. For the Pizza crust, I went with the Sun-dried tomato and for the flatbread, I went with the spicy jalapeño flavor! I prepared my pizza crust and flatbreads per the directions in the oven, and made them my own with unique and delicious toppings.

How to Prepare Pizza Crusts
When it comes to lunch time, I am usually someone who reaches for something that is going to be quick, easy, and healthy. What I really loved about these pizza crusts is how simple they were to make. To prepare, you will need a vented pan, some non-stick cooking spray, and of course, an oven or air fryer!
The pizza crusts should always be cooked from frozen. Once they start to thaw, they become very soft and hard to work with, after-all, they are completely grain free so it is to be expected.
To start, preheat the oven to 400F and coat the vented pan with non-stick spray. Once the oven is preheated, add the frozen pizza crust to the vented pan and place in the oven for about 12-14 minutes. Remove from oven and allow the pizza crust to cool for a few minutes before adding your toppings.
I used pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, garlic and oregano. Once you have your desired toppings on your pizza, place back in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes.
Remove pizza from oven and allow to cool for about 5-7 additional minutes. Once cooled, cut into it and enjoy!
This same cooking method applies for both the pizza crusts and flatbreads! I baked both of them in the oven, but I think next time I will try air frying the flat breads instead!

What I loved about these crusts
I was really surprised at how much I loved these crusts. I am a huge cheese lover already, so I knew that I’d be a fan to a certain extent. However, these crusts really took me by surprise. They were full of flavor, they held their shape, and they were incredibly light and left me feeling full and satisfied.
I especially loved that there were no preservatives or funky weird ingredients in any of the flatbreads. As I mentioned before, each crust is made with three main ingredients: whole cauliflower, egg whites, and mozzarella cheese. No fillers, no additives and no unnecessary ingredients! The only additional ingredients in exception to these three are just seasonings to add flavor to each unique crust.
This is definitely something that I can get behind!

Make it your own
My favorite thing about these Cali’flour crusts is that the possibilities with are endless! I like to think of myself as someone who works at Blaze or Pieology, and re-create some of my favorite pizza combos, but at home! Aside from the pizza crusts, the flatbreads would make a great addition for breakfast, or even tacos!
Since the crust is made with just three simple ingredients, you can really add on any toppings you want to create something that is totally unique and your own.
