How To Make

ONE: First thaw puff pastry sheets according to package. Then, when ready use a cooke cutter or the top of a small bowl and cut out 4 circles. This size must be slightly larger than the pineapple rings.

TWO: Next, add honey to a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper and then sprinkle coconut sugar over the honey. Add on the pineapple rings next.

THREE: Finish it off with a puff pastry slice, then using your hands mend the sheet to the fruit. Spray with non-stick spray or coat with an egg wash and bake.

FOUR: When done baking, flip over and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed.
  • 8 tbsp of honey
  • 4 tbsp of coconut sugar, divided
  • 8 pineapple rings

Directions

  1. First thaw puff pastry sheets according to package. When ready, preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Then, when ready use a cooke cutter or the top of a small bowl and cut out 4 circles in the puff pastry. This size must be slightly larger than the pineapple rings.
  3. Next, add honey to a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper and then sprinkle coconut sugar over the honey. Add on the pineapple rings next.
  4. Finish it off with a puff pastry slice, then using your hands mend the sheet to the fruit.
  5. Spray with non-stick spray or coat with an egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. When done baking, flip over and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and enjoy!
