In order to not get sick, make sure you are using sushi grade tuna. Most grocery stores carry it, as long as they have a fresh seafood counter. Just be sure to ask if it’s sushi grade! Salmon would also work too.
Sesame seed oil works great in a lot of fish recipes, or asian zing recipes. It gives a nice toasted flavor.
I like to use coconut aminos over soy sauce, I think it’s a lot more flavorful and adds a touch of sweetness, but either or would work.
Red wine vinegar is going to add some acidity, alternatively you can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Just take note that those are a bite more potent, so you may taste it.
You can add in regular honey or hot honey like I did for a touch of sweetness and heat.
Use fresh grated ginger for best results, this is going to add much more flavor than powdered ginger.
Even if you don’t like spice, I recommend adding in the minced jalapeno. It adds a nice crunch and a subtle touch of heat, I promise it’s not too overpowering at all.
Red onion is going to add both flavor and texture.
Sliced green onions is a great addition as well.
Fresh mango cubes adds a tropical component which I think tastes amazing in this dish.
Avocado adds healthy fats, flavor and a lovely creamy texture.
Cilantro and sesame seeds to garnish, but also for adding flavoring.

How To Make
ONE: In a bowl add in the cubed sushi grade tuna followed by all the ingredients for the marinade. Mix well and set aside. Next, add in all your toppings like the jalapeno, red onion, and mango. Cover and place in the fridge while you make the wonton chips.

TWO: Place wonton papers in the air fryer and coat lightly with non-stick spray. Air fry at 350F for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

THREE: Arrange wonton chips on a plate and set aside. Bring out the tuna mixture and finish it off with cilantro, sesame seeds and avocado. Give it a good mix. Add tuna on top of wonton chips or just serve as a dip and enjoy!
