Three Ingredient Cereal Bars

Ingredients in Cereal Bars
There’s only a handful of ingredients needed to make these incredibly delicious cereal bars. They are hands down the most simplest recipe to whip together and takes all of five minutes! The longest part is waiting for them to set up in the fridge.
Here’s what you need to get started-
cereal of choice– I used Love Bird Grain-free Cassava flour cereal.
honey– may sub maple syrup, agave, date syrup etc.
granola butter– may sub any other nut or seed butter

How to make Cereal Bars
Making these cereal bars cannot be any easier. I mean, how hard can a recipe be with only three ingredients, right?
To start, prepare an 8×8 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan of medium/low heat, combine granola butter and honey.
Mix consistently with a spatula until ingredients are well incorporated. Remove from heat and add cereal to a large bowl.
Pour granola butter + honey mixture into the cereal and carefully mix with a spatula until cereal is well coated.
Next, pour the cereal mixture into the prepare baking dish and carefully press down with your spatula until the cereal is in an even layer. Place in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hours to harden.
Remove from fridge, slice into square and enjoy! Best store in the fridge and enjoyed up to 1 week.

How to make cereal bars vegan
Since these bars are made with honey they won’t be considered vegan. But don’t worry! You can simply swap the honey for any vegan sweetener of choice such as agave, date syrup or maple syrup.
You can also totally make these cereal bars your own by adding in any additional treats such as marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, etc! The possibilities are endless. Let me know if you give these a try!
