Ingredients

Apple Crisp

  • 1 large Honey crisp apple (1 granny smith apple (or about 3 cups of your favorite apples, chopped))
  • 3 Tbsp of maple butter (can sub maple syrup, honey, agave, date syrup)
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon

Streusel Topping

  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup organic old fashioned oats
  • 2 Tbsp organic brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • To start, chop the apples into small bite sized pieces and place inside your preferred baking dish.
  • Drizzle the apples with maple butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix until each apple piece is well coated.
  • Once you have your apples coated, set this dish aside and start to make the streusel topping. To do this, simply combine oat flour, old fashioned oats, brown sugar, avocado oil, and ground flaxseed in a small bowl.
  • Mix until a crumbly mixture starts to form, then sprinkle this over the apples.
  • Bake in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes.
  • Top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or yogurt!
  • Apple crispy is best stored in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoyed within 4 days.
