Shrimp Taco Bowls are a super quick and easy recipe to make for lunch or dinner. This recipe is made with fresh shrimp, but feel free to use frozen, and is seasoned with a flavorful taco seasoning. The best part is that it’s ready in just about 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Taco Shrimp

  • 1 lb fresh or frozen shrimp
  • 3 tbsp siete mild taco seasoning
  • 3 tbsp bone broth (or any other broth)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Bowl ad-in’s

  • lettuce
  • black beans
  • corn
  • cheese
  • pico de gallo
  • sour cream
  • cilantro
  • brown rice

Instructions

  • To start, rinse the fresh shrimp under cold water for a few minutes. If using frozen, you can skip this step.
  • Next, add the shrimp to a bowl and mix in the seasoning and bone broth. Mix the shrimp really well so that each piece is well coated.
  • Then, heat some olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium to low heat and add in the shrimp on a single layer. Allow to cool for about 5-6 minutes before flipping. Let the shrimps cook the same amount of time on the other side. You’ll know the shrimps are done when they curl up.
  • That’s it. Assemble your shrimp bowl with your favorite ad-ins. I like to use lettuce, brown rice, black beans, corn, salsa, cheese, sour cream and cilantro and enjoy!
