Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast (sliced into strips)
  • 3 bell peppers (any color, sliced into strips)
  • 1/2 red onion (sliced thin)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning (I used Siete Mild)
  • serve as is or with: lettuce (avocado, greek yogurt (or sour cream), tortillas and rice.)

Instructions

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 400F.
  • In the meantime, add all ingredients into a bowl, and toss until each piece is well coated with taco seasoning and oil.
  • Add mixture directly into the preheated air fryer basket and air fry at 390F for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Check internal temp to ensure it’s 165F, if not air fry for 3 more minutes.
  • Enjoy with your favorite toppings or side dish- I used rice, lettuce, greek yogurt, pico de Gallo and cilantro.

Notes

  • Preheat your air fryer: Set it to 400°F before cooking for even, caramelized results.
  • Adjust the seasoning: Add cayenne for spice or smoked paprika for depth.
  • Finish with lime: A squeeze of fresh lime brightens and balances the flavors
