Ingredients

  • 1 + 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup white puff cereal
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup sun butter
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine old fashioned oats, crispy rice cereal, ground flaxseed meal, salt, cinnamon, and sprinkles and mix until well combined.
  • Then, in a small saucepan, combine sunbutter and maple syrup and mix until just combined. Don’t over-heat. It should only take a few minutes.
  • Pour this mixture into the medium bowl and combine with the oats mixture. Mix with a spatula until well combined.
  • Pour this mixture onto the baking sheet and spread in a thin layer. You want them to be touching so clusters will form, but not too thick.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely before breaking apart with your fingers. Store in an airtight container and enjoy up to 10 days.

Notes

You can sub any nut butter for sun butter

You can sub maple syrup for honey, agave, or any other sugar substitute.
