Ingredients

Cucumber Jalapeno Juice

  • 2 large cucumbers.
  • 1/2 - 1 jalapeno (depending on spice level.)
  • 2 cups filtered water

Margarita

  • 1.5 oz tequila (one shot.)
  • 1 tbsp agave.
  • 1 lime (juice of about 1-2 tbsp.)
  • 1/4 cup cucumber jalapeno juice.

Additionals:

  • Ice
  • Cucumber slice for garnish
  • Hot honey (for the rim)
  • Tajin (for the rim)

Instructions

  • Start by riming the glasses with hot honey and tajin. First add hot honey to plate and then place the glass on it until it's well coated. Next, add tajin to a plate and dip the glass and coat well. Place them in the freezer in the meantime while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • Next, add fresh cucumber and jalapeno slices to a blender with water and then blend until well combined. Use a mesh strainer to remove the pulp from the juice. Discard the pulp.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, agave and ice. Cover and shake well.
  • Add fresh ice to the prepared glasses and then add in the tequila mixture (without the ice). Top it off with the cucumber jalapeno juice, garnish and enjoy!

Notes

  • Place your rimmed glasses in the freezer to get nice and cold while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • Use a mesh strainer to separate the juice from the pulp.
  • If you don't have a cocktail shaker, use a protein shaker!
