Ingredients And Substitutions

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

Use pure maple syrup and not pancake syrup, there is a big difference. Alternatively, you can use agave or honey, however, the flavor will be different.

Almond butter is a healthy fat that I love to use in my baked goods instead of regular butter or oil. You can use any nut or seed butter such as cashew, pecan, peanut, or sunflower seed.

Vanilla extract adds a lovely flavor to any baked good.

Almond flour is a grain free flour that adds both to the flavor and texture of these chocolate chip cookies. I always purchase a big bag from amazon!

Oat flour adds to the texture of these cookies too. You can use store bought or make your own by blending oats until they are in a fine powder.

Baking powder is going to add to the texture, allowing these cookies to have a soft pillowy texture.

Salt balances out all the flavors.

To keep these cookies vegan, use dairy free/vegan certified chocolate chips.

These are one of my favorite lovelydelites cookies – the cookies aren’t too sweet, they have more of a warm, gentle sweetness, and are nice a chocolately. So gooey on the inside if you like a chewy cookie! And so much nutrition in them too!

These were SO GOOD! I was skeptical to try them because the ingredients were so healthy that I thought they wouldn’t taste that great. I was pleasantly surprised!! They came out absolutely delicious and were even easier to bake than traditional cookies. They are so tasty and you feel good after eating them. Thank you for the amazing recipe!!
