Apple Brie Crostini

apple brie crostini is the best pairing
There are a few food groups that were just made for each other. For example, peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and chocolate and brie and apples. There is just something about the creamy, buttery brie cheese that taste absolutely amazing with the crisp sweet apples. I also like to take it a step further and smother on some pepper jelly which gives it a kick and adds to the overall flavor profile.
I posted this recipe over on my tiktok and within a few hours it was already over 100K views and for good reason too. There were so many comments saying that this was going to be made at Thanksgiving, baby showers, or Friendsgiving parties this year.
I can’t wait for you to try this recipe, when you do, don’t forget to take a picture and tag me over on Instagram or Tiktok! I love seeing your re-creations. Also, please consider leaving a comment and rating below (under the recipe card), this supports my business more than you know!

Ingredients needed to make Apple Brie Crostini
If you’re a Trader Joe’s fan like myself, you can find all the ingredients there to make this recipe. If you don’t have one near you, no worries! Most if not all grocery stores carry these ingredients!
baguette– any fresh french baguette will work for this recipe. As long as you can slice it thin, it will work!
EVOO– just a little evoo to spread on the baguette during baking time.
brie– I used double cream brie cheese, but feel free to use your favorite brie!
pepper jelly– I found mine at trader joe’s which gives this appetizer a beautiful flavor. However, you can use any pepper jelly that you can find!
honey crisp apples– honey crisp apples are my favorite, they’re perfectly sweet and crunchy. However, feel free to use any red apple that you prefer. You can also use green but it will be more of a tangy/tart flavor rather than sweet!
thyme– fresh thyme on top for the perfect earthy/ herb flavoring.
maple butter– I like to drizzle these crostini with maple butter, also found at Trader Joes. however, you can use honey instead if you’d like!

How to make this fall inspired crostini
One of my favorite things about this crostini is that it’s not only delicious, but it ready in about 10 minutes making it the perfect dinner party appetizer or quick snack.
Start by preheating the oven to 350F.
Next, slice the fresh baguette into thin slices and place directly onto a baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with EVOO and set aside. Then, thinly slice the brie cheese and add it to the tops of the baguette. Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes or until the brie cheese is melted.
While that’s baking, prepare the honey crisp apples by again, slicing thinly. When the crostini is done baking, remove from the oven and place on a plate.
Next, add on about 1 tsp of pepper jam jelly and top it off with the thinly sliced apple. Sprinkle on some fresh thyme and then to finish it off, drizzle on some maple butter and enjoy! These taste best slightly warm but still taste amazing when cooled down.

Loved these crostini’s as an appetizer for thanksgiving! Every single one was eaten, and all my guests asked for the recipe! Such a simple, easy, delicious app. Thanks Hannah!
