Vegan Almond Flour Pizza Crust

Vegan Almond Flour Pizza crust is light, crispy and so easy to make. You will only need a few simple ingredients and this pizza crust comes together in just about 30 minutes. I love to top mine with pear, arugula, caramelized onions and vegan cheese!

Now, if you have never tried pear pizza before then let me tell you, you are missing out! This pizza combination is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I just love how the juicy pears sit on the crispy almond flour crust, and how the sweet caramelized onions balance out the rest of the flavors. It’s just… CHEF’S KISS.

The pizza crust is made a blend of almond and tapioca flour and has hints of rosemary and Italian seasoning. The outer edges are nice and crispy, while maintaining a soft chewy center. You can however, add whatever toppings that you’d like. Feel free to get crazy with it, but I also encourage you to try this combo- you won’t be dissapointed!

how to make pizza crust

To start, preheat the oven to 350F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Then, in a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca flour, ground flax, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, dried rosemary and salt. Mix with a whisk until combined.

Next, add in the almond milk and olive oil and mix with a spatula until a dough starts to form. You may need to use your clean hands to really knead the dough.

Roll the dough into a large ball, then place it on the baking sheet. Flatten with the palm of your hands, then use a rolling pin to roll it out. You want it to be about 1/4″ thick. I made mine into an oval, but feel free to make yours into a circle if desired.

Place the dough in the oven and bake for about 12 minutes. Remove and top with desired toppings. Place back in the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes. Let cool slightly, then remove from the baking sheet and place on your plate. Cut into and enjoy!
