20 Minute Turkey Burger Bowls with Greek Yogurt Secret Sauce
This turkey burger bowl with air fryer sweet potato fries is the ultimate easy, satisfying meal that brings all the classic burger flavors into a fresh, loaded bowl. It’s quick to make, super flavorful, and perfect for busy weeks when you want something delicious without a ton of effort.

I’ve been loving meals like this lately because they fall into that “make once, eat twice” category, aka the kind of recipes that make your life so much easier. You can prep everything ahead of time and have filling lunches ready to go or a quick dinner you can throw together in minutes, and it still feels like something you actually want to eat.
It also fits right in with some of my other go-to easy meal prep recipes like my ground chicken peanut crunch bowl and Thai basil beef, simple, flavor-packed meals that hold up so well for leftovers. If you want to switch things up, you can rotate in other burger-inspired recipes or swap the fries for my air fryer carrot fries or classic air fryer fries to keep things fresh without adding any extra work.

How To Make
Make the pickled red onions. Add sliced onions to a jar or bowl. Pour over vinegar, maple syrup, salt, and hot water. Let sit for at least 10–15 minutes (longer = better flavor)

Air Fry the Sweet Potato Fries. Toss fries with oil + seasonings. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway.

Cook the burger meat. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat, season, and cook until browned and slightly crispy.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the hot meat and let it melt slightly.

Make the special sauce: Whisk all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the bowls. Lettuce, burger meat + melty cheese, tomatoes, avocado, pickles, pickled red onions, sweet potato fries.

Drizzle generously with special sauce.

Tips and Tricks
- Cut sweet potato fries evenly for the best crisp in the air fryer
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer, cook in batches if needed for crispy edges
- Let the burger meat get slightly crispy before adding cheese for more flavor
- Make the pickled onions ahead of time for even better tang and depth
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt or blended cottage cheese for the creamiest sauce
How to Serve and Store
Serve these cheeseburger bowls fresh with warm sweet potato fries and a generous drizzle of sauce for the best texture. For meal prep, store each component separately in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3–4 days. Reheat the meat and fries, then assemble fresh with cold toppings and sauce when ready to eat.
