Ingredients And Substitutions

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for 3 Ingredient Peach Cobbler. Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

Fresh or frozen peaches: I recommend using frozen for a more cost efficient recipe. Alternatively, you can use any other fruit like blueberries, strawberries, black berries, mixed berries, etc.

Butter: I personally love Kerry Gold grass-fed butter, but you can also use plant-based butter, a dairy free alternative, or oil if desired.

Cake mix: Any flavored cake mix will work, although I do recommend using a vanilla or yellow flavored one for best results. If you want to make this recipe gluten free, then opt for a gluten free cake mix like a one from Simple Mills.

How To Make

Melt the butter

Add the butter to a microwaveable safe dish and microwave in 30 second increments to prevent the butter from exploding. You can also melt it on the stovetop if that’s more your jam.

Mix in the cake mix:

Pour the melted butter into the cake mix and mix together with a rubber spatula until a thick dough is formed.

Assemble the cobbler

Add frozen peaches to a baking dish, and crumble the dough evenly on top. Use your hands to press down on the dough to make it even.

Bake and enjoy:

Bake the cobbler in the preheated oven until golden brown and enjoy with vanilla ice cream and coconut caramel.

Tips And Tricks

Use frozen peaches for a more cost efficient recipe.

Sprinkle the cobbler dough over the peaches in sections and then spread evenly. This will make it much easier to spread then adding the whole batter on at once.

I used a pie dish for this recipe, which the baking time took a bit longer since it’s a pretty deep dish. If you’re using a standard 9×13 or any other size dish, you may only need to bake for 45 minutes.

You know your cobbler is done baking when the center is set and firm to the touch and the tops and edges are golden brown. If the center is still raw- keep baking 5 minutes at a time.

How To Serve And Store

Serve this 3 Ingredient Peach Cobbler warm and with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top and a drizzle of coconut caramel. You can also serve it with whipped cream, cool whip or any other flavored ice cream.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy up to 4-5 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or until it’s heated all the way through.
