A touch of triple sec adds a citrusy, almost like an orange-infused flavor, you can use Cointreau in replace.
Freshly squeeze lime juice is going to add a ton of flavor. If you don’t have fresh limes, you can use lime juice from the bottle, otherwise, lemon will be okay, but the flavor will be slightly different.
A small amount of agave helps sweeten up this drink, it’s totally optional.
What is kombucha?
Kombucha tea is a fermented drink made with tea, sugar, bacteria and yeast. It’s made by adding the colony to sugar and tea, and allowing the mix to ferment. The resulting liquid contains vinegar, B vitamins and a number of other chemical compounds.
There are a ton of different brands of kombucha out there, some of them have a lot of sugar and some don’t.
how to make
ONE: In a cocktail shaker or glass, add in the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave and ice. Then, shake it up until it’s really well combined.
TWO: Rim a glass with tajin or salt and fill it will ice. Then, add in the liquid from the shaker only and top it off with mango kombucha. Mix and serve. Option to garnish with a lime wedge or mango slice and enjoy!
Tips and tricks
If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, feel free to use a protein shaker, or just mix everything together in a glass.
To rim your glass, brush a lime wedge around the rim and then dip and coat it in tajin that is sprinkled on a plate.
If you don’t have tajin, use salt or just nothing at all.
How to serve and store
Serve this kombucha margarita in a tajin rimmed glass, chilled and over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and mango slice if desired.
Kombucha margarita is best served immediately. Furthermore, you want to store or make ahead, I would recommend storing without ice so it doesn’t get watered down.
This mango margarita with kombucha is sweet, tangy and fizzy. It’s not strong either, but you can always made it strong by adding in 1/2 oz more of tequila.

There is 1.5 oz of tequila in each glass, which is a good amount of alcohol, however, you cannot taste it in my opinion.
This margarita always tastes best when made fresh, however, if making ahead just store the mixture separately from the ice so that it doesn’t get watered down.
