Simple Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

How to make Chia seed pudding
Chia seed pudding is so easy to make and also extremely versatile! You can add different flavors, sweeteners or toppings to make it your own! For the sake of this recipe, we are sticking to an original vanilla flavor that is sure to be loved by all.
When chia seeds are mixed with liquid, they become a gel-like substance, similar to a chia egg. But to make chia seed pudding, you want to use a creamy liquid like your favorite milk. My favorite milk is almond, but coconut, oat or any other milk or nut milk will work for this recipe!
To start, you will want to mix the chia seeds with milk and stir well. For your sweetener, I like to use agave, however you can use date syrup, maple syrup, honey or any other liquid sweetener. If using a sugar base, you may need to alter the recipe and add more milk.
It’s really that simple, add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix really well. Store in a container with a lid in the fridge for up to 2 hours and your end result will be a delicious and healthy chia seed pudding.

Top if off with your favorite fruit and more
Now when I stated above that the possibilities are endless, I meant it! You can top the chia pudding off with your favorite fruit, chocolate, nuts and so much more!
For the vanilla, I like to keep it simple and add strawberries and cacao nibs. The strawberries give this pudding a sweet taste, while the cacao nibs add a nice crunch and texture. See below for many more topping ideas
